This means that we get to visit Rotterdam in a completely different fashion than what we are used to. However, new views are not the only things we experience on these Rotterdam rooftops! There is also dance, theatre, music, and other activities on the beautiful rooftops of Rotterdam. New Grounds will be one of those places. On the 3rd and 4th of June, there will be live music in the café and on the roof, and of course you can take a look at Rotterdam from our beautiful rooftop at the monumental HBS building.

Omar Ka Acoustic Duo
Geboren in Senegal, kwam Omar Ka in 1994 naar Rotterdam. Hij stamt af van een eeuwenoude West-Afrikaanse nomadencultuur (Fulani) met een zeer rijke muziekcultuur. Hij heeft nationaal en internationaal succes geboekt en heeft met veel bekende artiesten gespeeld, zoals Trijntje Oosterhuis en DJ Tiësto. Met zijn band heeft hij zeven albums uitgebracht. Vandaag speelt hij met zijn Acoustic Duo muziek die liefde, passie en goede vibes straalt.
